Make a Donation
Generosity is one of the best responses we can make to God's goodness.
When you make a gift, either big or small, you are joining in the work that God is doing through the ministries and programs of Church of the Apostles. Your donation supports joyful worship, biblical teaching and learning, compassionate ministry in our city, striving for ecological and social justice, and the building of a community- in person and online- that seeks to learn and follow in Jesus' way of love. Each year our budget is approved by our corporation and passed at our annual vestry meeting.
Thank you.
Were you invited by a friend or family member to celebrate an occasion with them by making a gift? Please include their name and celebration with us, so we can thank you both! (on the memo line of your cheque, or in the "send a message" field of your online gift or e-transfer)
Diocese of Niagara's Secure Donor Portal accepts gifts by Pre-Authorized Payment or Credit Card. The church receives your full gift when you give by PAP. Credit card fees are deducted by the Diocese when you give by credit card. Tax receipts are issued at year end, from the Church of the Apostles.
Canada Helps Secure Donor Portal accepts gifts by Credit Card and Paypal. Processing fees of 3.75% (one time gifts) and 3.5% (monthly gifts) are deducted from your donation. Tax Receipts are issued from Canada Helps.

In Person: Church Envelopes are used by some supporters, to make their gift in person during worship services. Numbered envelopes allow us to identify the source of cash donations, and issue accurate tax receipts at year-end. Anyone who wishes to become a regular financial supporter of the Parish can request their own unique number and receive a 1-year set of printed envelopes.
A cheque with your name and address, or a cash gift in any envelope with your name and address written on it will allow us to identify you and provide you with a tax receipt.
In-person gifts may be placed on the offering plate before a worship service.

Gift in Your Will

When it comes to leaving a gift in a Will many believe they have to be wealthy or they believe a gift in a will to a charity, such as your church, will mean less for loved ones. But by giving even a small portion of your estate to charity, such as your church, you can make a significant impact on what you care about, and still support those you love. In short, you can do both. Click here to dispel the myths of giving through your Will and learn more about giving to charity through your Will.
